Architect

Our ongoing client, a boutique, design-led architecture studio in Bali, is looking for a talented Architect to join its creative team. The studio focuses on thoughtful, design-driven architectural work and values strong portfolios, creative thinking and attention to detail over years of experience alone.

This is an exciting opportunity for an architect who enjoys shaping design concepts, developing architectural projects and contributing to a collaborative studio environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop architectural design concepts from initial ideas through design development.
• Produce and review architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections and detailed documentation.
• Translate creative concepts into practical, functional and well-resolved architectural solutions.
• Prepare and develop 2D drawings using AutoCAD and 3D models using Rhino.
• Coordinate design development with internal team members and relevant project stakeholders.
• Maintain high standards of design quality, technical accuracy and presentation.
• Review project deliverables and give guidance or feedback to other team members where needed.
• Contribute creative ideas and help maintain the studio's distinctive design-led approach.

Requirements

• A degree in Architecture or a related field.
• A strong architectural portfolio showing design sensibility, creativity and technical capability.
• Solid experience developing architectural projects from concept to design development.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with Rhino; candidates with strong design skills who are willing to develop their Rhino skills may also be considered.
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles, spatial planning, materials and detailing.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to communicate design ideas clearly.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a small creative team.
• Previous experience in Bali, Jakarta or international architectural practices is welcome.
• Strong English communication skills are an advantage.
• Aged 18 and over.
